THE MONTH PIECE IS PLASTIC AND SAYS " LA CHAPELLE "; T IS NO SERIAL NUMBER AT ALL ; ON THE HORN OR BELL IS AS FOLLOWS, T IS A RIBBON AND ON THAT RIBBON IT SAYS EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE 1900 DE PARIS ; THEN UNDER THAT IS HORS CONCOURS ; THEN UNDER THAT IS MEMBRE DU JURY ; THEN UNDER THAT IS CONESNON & C IE AND THE IE IS UNDERLINED; THEN FOURNISSEURS DE L'ARMEE ; THEN 94 RUE D' ANGOULEME ; THEN PARIS ; THEN 29 IS IN A TULIP SHAPE FLOWER; THEN LAST FRANCO AMERICAN ......IN THE ORGINAL LEATHER CASE, BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE THE HANDLES. WE DID MAGNET TEST ( DOES NOT STICK TO THE METAL), AND IT SUGGEST THAT IT IS SILVER OVER NICKEL . T IS NO PITS , T ARE LEATHER PADS AND CORKS ON ALL. OH! AND SMALL DIAMETER, NOT LIKE OUR CLARINETS OF TODAY. THIS IS REALLY COOL, IF IT DOES NOT SELL, I'M GOING TO PLAY IT. MY DAUGHTER SAW IT LAST NIGHT, AND THE FIRST THING SHE SAIDS IS THAT I DIDN'T KNOW THEY MADE METAL CLARINETS, COOL...... : )
