Country Joe at his solo best both musically and politically - Hold On It's Coming threads through hard edge and softer rocky blues Lovely Gold Vanguard label on the vinyl which is in great condition, a bit of crackle in a couple of places but at this minor amount simply adds to the quality of vinyl experience that CD's can never match. The inner white sleeve is very clean and in excellent condition apart from a one inch rip which you can see in the photo. The original gatefold cover is a great design both outer and inner, has the import clip in the corner as seen and is in very good condition, a bit of ware, but no rips and the edges are strong and amazing for 40 years of pleasure. There is a small signature in blue byro inside the gatefold. Great tracks include Hold on its coming parts 1 and 2, playing with fire, air algiers, mr. big pig, jamila, traveling, only love is worth this pain, joe's blues and balancing on the edge of time. Did the fragile 'balancing on the edge of time' sensing the end of the psychedelic revolution strike the spark for Hawkwind to rev up the new phychedelic charge with warriors on the edge of time? maybe im reading into things beyond what they were, but with Country Joe McDonald, he got us thinking and imagining with new dimensions check it out
