The Goddess Isis - Large Couroc Tray with 6 matching glasses decorated in 22K gold This is a rare tray/glass combination set. The tray and the glasses (t are six glasses) portray the goddess Isis from Egyptian mythology. The tray is in Excellent condition - about a 96%. The six glasses are immaculate. I have included a photo of a label that came with another set of Couroc glasses - the label is not included in this auction. I have included the photo because of the care instructions for the glasses. The tray is 18" x 12.5" and is made of phenolic resin. T is a generous lip around the entire tray that makes it perfect for use as a lapdesk If you have never seen or held a piece of Couroc you may not realize what a high quality, heavy and durable tray this is. It is impervious to boiling, burns, and alcohol. The tray is very heavy and high quality. Couroc trays are highly collectable. Long since defunct, Couroc's products have remained popular through the years because of their high quality and broad range of beautiful designs. Previously, I have been including a short history of the Couroc company into all my Couroc auctions.
