The legendary Erte completed seven designs for the Courvoisier Collection Erte before his death in 1990. This is the third in the series, available in a limited edition of 12,000 decanters worldwide. Each individually numbered decanter is entrusted to a master craftsman who over four weeks effects the separate silk screening for different colors, kiln bakings and hand painting of rare pigments including 24 carat gold. The cognac in "Distillation" consists of a rare blend using the finest cognacs exclusively for the Grande Champagne area, with the oldest dating back to 1892, the year Erte was born.
