For sale is a nice Covered Serving / Vegetable or Casserole in the older American made Sheffield pattern GOLDEN MEADOW. The body of the piece is solid gold while the lid is solid cream as are many of the serving pieces (the pattern on plates is the gold design on a cream background). It measures 9-1/4" across, 7-5/8" in diameter, 4-7/8" high including the lid and 3-5/8" without; it comfortably holds 4-5 cups, will hold 6 cups if filled to the very top. It is in excellent, mostly displayed but sometimes used condition with no chips, cracks or breaks and with almost no indications of use. This is a wonderful piece, the covered servings bowls are great, they help keep hot things hot and cold things cold, and this looks good displayed in a china cabinet or glass doored cupboard; I rarely this piece listed for sale, even at china replacement services.
