This is a new un-issued example of this most sinister of weapons. These daggers were designed and produced in very limited numbers for the Office of Strategic Services. It was made by H. G. Long and Co. in Sheffield England and is stamped with their Cross Daggers trade mark. It was machined from a solid piece of surgical grade stainless steel. Accompanied by it's original brown leather sheath and strap to allow it to be concealed on the inside of the arm or leg. The wearer would cut off the excess length of strap once the preferred placement of the dagger has been established. This strap is original and full length. The triangular section blade has a fuller on each face and was obviously designed for one purpose only. This is an incredible find for the military / espionage collector. Overall length 7 ¼".
