It was created as a principality within the Holy Roman Empire in 1719 and became independent in 1866. Vaduz is the capital. Population: 34,200. A tourist centre, Liechtenstein is also a centre of banking because of its stable political situation and its absolute bank secrecy. The bell is hand-decorated with an Edelweiss and other local flowers. It has a black leather strap attached around the handle of the bell, embellished with 2 stars and a cow. The tassels are very colorful. On the top it has a ring for attaching to the cow collar. This bell is a great collectible! It measures (strap included) 7" long x 3" at the widest point.
