You are bidding on a RETIRED Cows on Parade: KID'S KOWSTRUCTION COW #7260, brand new with original hang tag and box from the June 2003 Collection. IT IS IN HAND & READY TO SHIP!! This project is for and about kids, so the artist wanted this cow to be something that would delight people of all ages, but especially children. In fact, she says, "I could visualize children building this cow with their erector sets and toys. Since the sponsor of this cow is a construction firm, I thought it would be nice to design a cow that appreciates their contribution." Her natural love in art is shape, design and color. She saw the cow as more of a three-dimensional sculptural object and opportunity rather than a two-dimensional painting surface. Her first thought was, "How can I re-create a cow? What fun!" Chris Keylock Williams is a well-known Oregon artist and art instructor. She is a signature member of the National and Northwest Watercolor Societies as well as past president of the Watercolor Society of Oregon. Her paintings have won numerous awards and been reproduced in three books, magazines and on many note cards and prints. Her work has been in exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad.
