three items: a tiny 5/8" button with a John W. Davis rooster crowing for "1924," some light spotting, together with three Cox and Roosevelt fobs, attached to original straps, exhibiting some wear to the silver finish. James Middleton Cox (1870-1957), Democratic candidate with Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1920, defeated by Harding, was the Governor of Ohio, a Member of Congress, and the scion of one of this country’s largest newspaper and communications empires.
