Original 1939 WW2 German K98 Bayonet & 1942 Scabbard The Bayonet Marked Clemen & Jung . It was made in Solingen , Germany in 1939 . Marked with serial number 3754d. The blade spine is marked 39 for 1939 . Marked with three visible Waffenampts (factory proof marks). The release button works smoothly. The brown Bakelite grips are in very nice shape with the exception of a small chip on one side as shown. Bluing is approximately 50%. Blade does not appear to have been sharpened. T is a small amount of blood pitting near the tip area. The Scabbard Serial number 5542. Marked 42 cvl. It has a Waffenampt on the finial. It is in nice shape but someone has painted it flat black. This auction is only open to U.S. bidders And no.........The K98 Mauser is not included. I just wanted to show you how it makes any K98 look better. Items will be shipped at a flat rate via U.S. Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance will be extra at buyers request. I will be listing more WWII German bayonets later this week.
