Up for auction is a vintage Craftsman fixed blade "hunting" knife. The exact date & manufacture is not known but believe it is a Schrade - Walden. They introduced this pattern right after WWII utilizing parts left over from their USN MK1 military contracts and continued production into the early 70s. The knife is 9-3/4" OAL and has a 5-1/8" clip point blade that is stamped "CRAFTSMAN" / "U.S.A." upside down on the tang. The handle is stacked leather with brown plastic spacer separating it from an aluminum pommel and guard. Condition: Used, Estate items. Blade is 99% full with some 1% to 5% factory finish though mostly buffed with spots of age patina from neglect. Please see photos. Good enough shape for years of use or will display nicely as is in the right minded adventures collection.
