Here is a classic Craftsman labeled version of the Stanley 78 rabbit plane in as-found condition. This one has made in USA cast into the side. These were probably made for Craftsman by Stanley or Sargent tool company. All parts, fence, depth stop, and nicker are present and working. Blade marked craftsman. Some very light rust present, but mostly clean metal with a dark patina. All screws will move, no problems here, just needs a light cleaning, sharpening, and ready to go to work. Would make an excellent plane to restore for use. Low reserve and low buy it now reflect the need for a little cleaning, but this is a good bargain for a complete, working plane.
