Present your best items with Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gallery.Excellent mid century pull down school map by George F. Cram. This is a cloth/canvas map that measures about 51"x 78" WITHOUT the hem. It features 2 different maps; Europe After the Treaties 1919~1924 & WW1 1914~1918 European Theater. It includes mounting bracket (no screws) and pole and operates without issue. Very large at over 6 feet tall! This beautiful map has water damage and some soiling at the hem and just above it. It also fell off the wall when I was taking pictures and sort of collapsed on itself which caused a crease diagonally across that you can see in the pictures. I think having it rolled back up will help straighten those, as well as some pressure from the reverse side if spread ot on the floor, like applying some heavy books overnight. The map also has 2 small tears, please see photos. Colors are VERY bright and vibrant, maps are crisp despite the damage, no yellowing, no smells of any kind, just a great old map. You will not be disappointed with this old map.This map, along with more than 75 other school maps and charts that I will be listing, belonged to the estate of a longtime teacher who lovingly stored these works of art when they became obsolete or were replaced for more modern versions, and eventually the technology that we use in schools today.
