This rare vintage oil lamp is an inverted thumbprint style cranberry glass. If you reach inside the glass you can feel the raised "thumbprints". It is smooth on the outside. I believe the lamp to be turn of the last century, The lamp is about 8 inches tall. I was lucky to find several miniature lamps through the estate of a serious collector in Mid-Michigan and will be selling more shortly. Wait til you see those! Considering its age, the condition is incredible. The lamp body and matching shade are in apparent mint conditon with no flaws or wear marks. The brass burner shows some patina from useage. The milk glass globe is near-mint, with the only flaw being an irregular sharp edge on the top. I believe the lamp to be totally original and will gladly refund your money if you have any doubt. Check our perfect feedback and bid with confidence. I will package very carefully and ship Priority Mail. Also insurance is highly recommended. OOPS! I made a mistake in my listing description. Pay no attention to the 2 sentences describing the "milk glass globe" and its condition. This was a description for another listing and should have been edited out. The actual cranberry glass shade is in flawless condition!
