This is an un-built, heavy paper model kit of NASA's Crawler Transporter to be displayed the Apollo Saturn V Rocket Launch Umbilical Tower (LUT) and Mobile Launcher Platform in 1:96 scale. It is designed to bear the load of the LUT 96 and be displayed with the Launch Tower and Rocket resting on it. Auction is for the CRAWLER TRANSPORTER paper model kit only... Rocket and LUT are not included. You are looking at the prototype, which was built in its raised position. It is a static model without moving parts, and can be displayed with any liked scaled model. This heavy paper (60 lbs. test) model kit includes: 1 set of 11"x17" color laser 60 lbs. test paper card stock parts sheets. 1 CD containing the Assembly Procedure Manual in PDF file.

The heavy paper (60 lbs.) is tested and deemed best for precision and other factors. After glueing, laminating, folding and assembly, it bears up strongly.

The load bearing main chassis is fabricated by the builder out of cardboard he or she supplise (or other material if preferred) with the outer skin and details attached to it.

Will require scissors, water based various color marking pens, cutting board, white glue, cardboard for sub-support on some parts, etc (Not included). But all color cover and graphics are included.

Bare bones "kit" to reduce costs to you... No packaging... Comes rolled in a USPS Priority package. Includes parts sheets and instructions manual CD only.
