Shipped rolled in tube "On July 2, 1967, t were two shows (6pm and 8pm) on Brian Epstein's "Sunday Night At The Saville Theatre". Cream headlined the shows with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and the Jeff Beck Group supporting. This was one of the most memorable of the Saville's nights, as it was Cream's first truly psychedelic performance. The band members were decked in full psychedelic clothing, attempting to out-perform Jimi Hendrix who had played the Saville the previous month. Originally commissioned by Brian Epstein, the Saville's owner, the poster features the psychedelic portrait photograph of the band shot for the poster by Karl Ferris, the Saville's "house photographer" at that time."
