Cream and Green Wood Cook Stove Up for sale is a really cool Cream and Green wood cook stove. This piece has wonderful lines and arches which makes me think it is from the late teens into the early 20's. This piece is porcelain and is just waiting to hold some cream and green stoneware or cream and green graniteware! T are a few knicks in the porcelain and the door latch is missing which is why we had the band around the door. The latch is normally a piece of metal which is placed inside the oven and screwed to the top. The latch would then slide into a small thin hole on the door. If you are a dealer in stoves or you have a handy husband then find the latch or making one will be no problem for you! The piece does have the top warming closet, a good fire box with no holes in the cast iron at all. The top has six burners and will have some slight rusting. This will measure about 5' high and about 4' wide. This of course is just estimates since I did not have a measuring tape when I took the photos. Due to the size of this piece, it is available for pickup only. Also, because the gas is so terribly high right now, I am closing down my antique booth so this piece is a "must go" and is being sold with no reserve. No matter what the price, this piece will be sold! Due to the small knicks in the porcelain and the slight rusting to the top, I am selling this in " as is " condition. If you need more photos or have questions please send me your email address. However, I will be gone the weekend of May 17th so please be patient and I will answer your question upon my return on Monday, May 19th. Payment Since this piece is still in my booth at Artichoke Annies Antique Mall, I will need You can pay via, personal check, money order, or credit/debt cards. Measurements The exact stove measurements are 62" high, 42" in width, and 30" deep. The actual depth is 26" but the stove pipe in the back adds about 4" more. The pipe opening measurements are about 4" x 9" (this is an estimate for I could not reach all the way into the back nor could I move the stove by myself). The oven measurements are 19.5" in width and 12" in heigth. Condition Again, t are a few knicks on the doors of this piece. The oven is in good condition, the fire box does not have any holes coming through. This stove was in use when we purchased it 2 years ago but we have not used it since. Pickup As explained we are closing out our antique mall booth and need to vacate the space the last day of June. We will not be able to hold the stove any longer than June 30th. We are also in the process of moving and do not have any place to store this piece at our new residence so we can not bring it home until the winner can pick it up. We are sorry if this is an inconvience but it is unavoidable. Condition Update Inside the firebox are the grates which hold the wood. These grates do turn to let the ashes flow into the ash box below. The damper for the flue is located on the stove top near the back. This lever is not moving but I am sure with alittle muscle you could get it to move. In photo three and seven t is the top of the stove which holds the burners. T is a 3" crack in the cast iron on the left front top edge. This crack does not interfere with the working condition of the stove and can be welded if you so desired. In photo seven you can see a small portion of the crack and w it is located. I have attached a photo of the warming oven and of the crack in the iron. I guess now that I look at the crack it is a bit more than three inches but still it is on the edge and in no way interferes with the working condi...
