You are bidding on 1 piece of cretaceous New Jersey amber with 2 insect inclusions . ABOUT THE AMBER This amber is 92 to 95 million years old, making it one of the oldest ambers with possible bug inclusions. Thousands of tons of Dominican and Baltic ambers are mined every year, as opposed to only the few tons of rare New Jersey Cretaceous amber found, ever . Also, Dominican and Baltic amber is not nearly as old, rare, or valuable when compared to New Jersey amber. In my experience, Baltic and Dominican amber with common insects have sold for just dollars a piece. The few places online that sell New Jersey amber with insect inclusions have sold these pieces for hundreds of dollars each. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is an AWSOME piece clear as day with 2 differant kinds of insects about 1mm each. T is also an imprint of most of an insect about 1/4 inch long on the surface of the amber. These insects could have sat and fed on a dinosaur's back!
