Cristalleries et Verreries de Vianne (Cristal D'Albret) sulphide paperweight featuring the likeness of General Douglas MacArthur. 1968. The sulphide was made from a mold by George Simon, an engraver for the French mint. It is superimposed over a green, cut glass base. Eight and one facets. Approximately 3" diameter. The maker's mark "CR ALBRET FRANCE" is acid etched on the bottom. The weight has no flaws, chips or scratches and is in mint condition.
