With Case

Offered is the Crosby Pup. Not only are these fairly rare, but this particular example comes with a case. I don't know that the case is original, but the pup does fit it as though the box was made for it, and was the way I acquired it many years ago.

T's no need to reiterate the entire story of the possible "Bing Crosby connection" to this famous pup. However, the story has it that the "Crooner" had just 60 of these made. To either prove or disprove this part of the story, 5 years ago one researcher did try to account for as many of these as possible. At that time, the existence of only 26 examples could be definitely located and confirmed!!

So, the mystery goes on---though t is no mystery that these pieces are rather rare.

I consider this example to be in excellent to near mint condition. The case, whether original or not, is sturdy and solid, and in very good to excellent condition.

Payment, postage and insurance

U.S. buyers : For In most cases I strongly recommend buyers opt for full insurance, since once I mail the package I cannot be responsible for damage, loss or failure to deliver. If the buyer opts for insurance, in case of loss, damage or failure to deliver, I will provide the buyer with the postage and insurance receipts, but the buyer will be responsible for filing the insurance claim with the post office. Unless otherwise requested, I prefer using Priority Mail, but 1st class is available for smaller items. Delivery Confirmation is required and a modest handling charge is included in the postage estimate!

International buyers : As for I also accept personal checks if payable in U. S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. Bank (please, NO international money orders). An estimate of the shipping cost (which includes a modest handling charge and cost of a Certificate of Mailing) can be calculated in the listing.

As for shipping-- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: MAIL SENT OUTSIDE THE U. S. IS AT THE BUYER'S RISK 100%. THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE DOES NOT OFFER INSURANCE OR TRACKING SERVICE FOR ANY REASONABLY PRICED INTERNATIONAL MAIL. TFORE, I CAN NOT, AND WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE., LOSS OR FAILURE TO DELIVER. BY BIDDING, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS! HOWEVER, I WILL PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE OF MAILING AS PROOF THAT THE ITEM WAS MAILED. If you are concerned about the possibility of loss or damage, I strongly recommend opting for Registered Mail, especially for more expensive items. Although Registered Mail is a little more expensive, and does not offer electronic tracking either, it is the safest and most secure means of shipping.
