CROSLEY D-25WE 50’sVintage tube radio D25 Dashboard Works 100% original working 1953 AM radio. It has the best gold plate I’ve ever seen on a D-25. On most of these radios the gold plate on the clock and tuning dial bezels is badly flaked or entirely worn off. This one looks great! Look at he close-up photos and compare it to any other D-25. Only the far right knob shows appreciable wear. I’m not saying that it’s mint. T is wear, but it still looks really good. It receives 15 stations loud and clear in Sacramento . The volume and tuning knobs both turn smoothly without scratch. . The pointer on the tuning dial moves freely all the way from 55 to 160. The clock also works but it’s about 10 minutes per hour slow. I don’t know if the alarm works – I don’t want to fiddle with it. All three little clock knobs are present. The case is solid – no cracks, no chips. It has never been repainted. The white is original factory paint and it’s still a nice white color without yellowing. All 5 knobs and all 4 feet are present and original. It has an AC power timer outlet on the left side for appliances. (That’s what it says on the back cover.) Plug a table lamp or a coffee pot to it. It also has a monaural phono input on the back.
