This is an interesting and unusual addition to any CROSS collection. A salesman's sample kit dating to around 1987, this mint condition case contains a Gold Filled set in center case, 5 Ball Point pens in the top section and several plates with examples of lettering styles etc. Advertisers for these include PEPSI, KENTUCKY DERBY, FORD and more. The bottom 1/2 of the case includes an array of 32 sample advertising clips available on Cross items. These clips include Union 76, DATABIT, HERTZ, EQUITABLE, KGTV, MASTER CARD, DEL MONTE, 1987 NBA FINAL, AT&T, EXXON, MOBIL Racing, BMW and many more. Quite a few of these are beautifully enameled, all are as new in their slots and t is a felt cover for the clips.
