For your consideration I am listing an American Indian RARE - One of A Kind - Offering, the COMPETE Ceremonial & Powwow Regalia of Clara Nomee, the first Female Chief of the Modern Crow Nation .
This exquisite set includes her Elk's Tooth Dress , made of trade cloth, traditional Crow pattern, beadwork, and hundreds of elk' s teeth sewn on with Sinew. Also her complete beaded regalia, consisting of moccasins, leggings, belt and pouch .
TheDress from back neckline to bottom hem is 49 inches, shoulder to shoulder 19 inches and waist flat is 25 inches which translates to 50 inches circumference. Moccasin soles are 10.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide.
The elk's teeth are simulated. Real elks teeth would make the dress $3500-$4000 alone. The matched beaded items would sell when available for $800.00 to $1000.00. All Told this is one fantastic deal.
Additionally , a 133 page book titled Montana Indians with a Photo and Biography of Clara Nomee, in the Elk's Tooth Dress. Finally, a couple of hanks of beads, that were used, and can be used for repairs of the beadwork, if desired.
