Up for auction is a beautifully carved wooden Hopi Kachina Doll by Mike Sakiestewa. This is a Crow Mother which is otherwise known as "Angwusnasomtaka" in Hopi. The Crow Mother is considered by many Hopi to be the mother of all Kachinas. She is carrying a basket of indian corn. Hopi Kachina dolls are tradionally carved out of cottonwood root. This would be a great gift or addition to any Kachina collection!

This doll stands about 10&1/2" tall including the base and ear feathers and is in NEW condition. This doll is very nicely carved and painted. Be sure to see the Red Tail Hawk Kachina doll I have listed by this same artist!
