Crown CT-400 power amplifier Up for sale today is a great condition working high end Crown CT400 power amplifier. These amps are far better and cleaner sounding than the Peavey/Samson/Yorkville amps sold elsewhere. Crown has put out true pro touring power amps for decades, and they just keep running. This one came out of the Vancouver Public Library where it was used for their paging system, which means it was rarely used. Permanently mounted in a Middle Atlantic rack, there's no rack rash on this amp, and the front and covers are in great shape. Fully tested, bias checked, etc, this amp needed nothing, but we pulled it apart and cleaned the controls and lubricated the fan. Conservatively rated at 200 watts per channel, either into 8 ohms or 70 volt commercial sound systems. Variable speed fan depending on the heat generated. Great for subwoofers schools, churches, home theater, DJing, etc. Clip and power lights on the front, volume controls and inputs and outputs on the back.
