Crown Imperial Canning Jar w Glass Insert Canada 1942 We are pleased to offer this lovely CROWN IMPERIAL Canning Jar manufactured in Canada. Old canning jar were sometimes referred to as "Fruit Jars". It is marked with a diamond with a "D" in the center and dated 1942. It is a quart canning jar manufactured during World War ii. It stands 7 1/4" tall. It has a screw-on lid with glass insert that is also marked with an embossed crown and "Made in Canada" This canning jar is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.
