This Auction is for an Antique Fruit Jar Embossed and Dated 1841 and Loaded with Wood Whittling and is Nice and Crude and is in Near Mint Condition. Comes with its Matching Embossed Pontiled Lid. Been told it is Rare. This Crude Baby is 5 1/4" Tall made of a Medium Green Glass Just SCREAMING with Awesome Wood Whittled Texture and Bubbles. Has a Double Pointed Lip. The base Has Bold Embossing 4089 PATENT 1841 C.S. & CO. LTD. The Matching Original Glass Lid is Pontiled and reads CANNINGTON SHAW & CO. ST. HELENS. Offered in Excellent Near Mint Condition, but the lid does have a small chip on the insides inner ring. Pretty Clean, and no reserve. Wow What a Nice Early Jar.
