10 Elegant Stems What a delicious find from an old Pennsylvania estate auction! If you want to serve with class then you will feel proud to have this set of 10 goblets on your table. The glasses are 4.75" tall and holds one half cup liquid which will pour to just under the lowest gold band. The top diameter is 3.75" and the base diameter is 2.5". The top etched gold band measures 6/16 of an inch wide. The pattern is a running leaf surrounded by small dots which I call berries. Below the rim band is a skinny band which matches the gold band on the base of the glass. T are 12 "flutes" to each glass which extend down from the rim 1.5" and then flatten out to form the cup. Hand wash only to preserve the gold! Condition: Two of the glasses have a chip on the base outer edge rim. One is tiny- I have to feel it to see it and the 2nd is about the size of half of a pencil eraser. These however have NOT resulted in cracks- in fact, I see no cracks at all on any of the glasses. I see no scratches. T are some tiny bits of tarnish- (not sure what to call these- darker spots on the wide gold rims) which I have shown a picture of. Very minor. Some tiny bubbles and t within the glass.
