A rare and very unusual crystal vase with a brilliant Art Deco silver overlay design covering almost 80% of the surface. The highly detailed design includes does and fawns, large palm trees, large leaf trees, with lily pads surrounding the bottom.Measures 8" tall, approximately 7" in diameter at the widest part, top opening is 2 1/2" in diameter, and the base is 3" in diameter. Circa 1930s. The piece is not signed. CONDITION:The vase is in very good condition: no chips, cracks, repairs. A very thin, <1/16", line of tarnish runs vertically down the vase; I could not polish it out. It is visible only under close inspection. See picture.Some very light scratches on some of the overlay.Minor silver fading in several spots and around the top & base.All the wear is typical of the vase's the age and have noeffect on the overall brilliance of the piece. This exceptional vase is a MUST for any serious Art Deco collector.
