All men seek power, but cursed be those adepts who seek power in the realm of Gauru-Yoth, the thing called the world god by its worshippers.
Beyond the worlds we know, beyond Yuggoth at the rim, beyond Almuric w savages battle endlessly and beyond Nh'ule of the black towers, t rolls Gauru-Yoth in a tortured orbit. It circles seven stars, three are red and old, four are dim and older still. The seven stars hold Gauru-Yoth in check. But even the stars die and one of the seven shall someday go cold, then shall Gauru-Yoth be free to ravage the universe and only Azathoth may bind the world thing, but Azathoth is mad.
By certain formula a skilled wizard may open the gate to Gauru-Yoth, if the Heirophant at the gate deems the traveler worthy he may go forth onto the fleshy surface of the world god. T he will be watched by countless eyes and will hear the screams of countless mouths, all beings that have been consumed by the world god in ages past. Some of those voices will speak and the adept may learn powerful formulae or forgotten lore of elder times. When the adept prepares to return to his world the Heirophant will bid him to feast upon the essence of Gauru-Yoth, and thus will the adept become one with the world god. After many such feasts the body of a man will take on the cast of Gauru-Yoth. Over time he will become an unspeakable thing and then take on the appetites of Gauru-Yoth, consuming man and beast alike to gain more mass. After much carnage he will be sated and the world god will call him to his realm, t he will sink into the mass of Gauru-Yoth and live on eternally.

This listing is for the "Rlyeh Fragments" a set of art prints for use as a prop in any type of fantasy rpg or larp gaming or just frame them and hang them on the wall if you like dark art. This set consists of 2 pages, the pages are prints on parchment paper and each measures 8x11 inches. The prints have been stained and weatd by hand for an ancient appearance.
