6"H x 5" w x 5" Deep & 3 lbs all by itself Those are the details that change the most. I am begining to feel like a stewardess that is going through the safety/exit card on the back of the seat in front of you. Maybe they do not do that anymore, it has been a while since I have flown anywhere. Machine age artifact item. More photos, indoors and out, (actually all outdoors for this doll head, the weather was improving) to try and give you a good idea of what the mold looks like. This is an actual industrial mold that would have been used in a factory that manufactured plastic dolls. I find it interesting that the interior is so smooth and details like ears, nose, and lips are very well defined in such a contrast to the nearly "stitched together" look of the exterior of the mold. The baby doll head, a chubby face, is copper and the frame that holds it is steel. The frame for this mold is just a back plate that is rusted and pitted. The dimensions are almost 6" H x 5"W x 5" deep.If you were to hang it directly on a wall that is, it would stick out about 5" There are many years of accumulated age built up on the exterior surface in the form of dirt, natural patina, and so forth.Even though this probably produced many many dolls that looked exactly alike and very "perfect" in their pretty outfits and plastic wrapped boxes, the bumpy aged look of the molds is actually kind of classic, sculptural and appealing in their own way. Very nice industrial decorative steam punk item. Incorporate it into a garden sculpture, maybe a fountain or bird bath. By the way, I WOULD be interested in seeing what you make if you are buying in order to make something. Item arrives as is, with an uncleaned or treated surface & it weighs nearly 3 lbs w/o packing materials. Thank you!
