This magnificent book is in very nice shape especially for the age. Well bound throughout. No pages torn or bent, etc. The only markngs is a stamping on the inside cover of belonging to Indiana Botanical Gardens and on the next to last page; which is blank except for a scribble of blue crayon. This not all over but reminds me of a small child trying to make their signature. This book is 9inch. by 6inch. weighs just over one pound and is about an inch thick. It has 398 pages of rules for Compounding Medicine according to the True System of Nature. Thus forming a complete Family Dispensatory and Natural System of Physic. Also included is his fifty choice receipts selected from his last Legacy to his wife."The Lord hath created Medicines out of the Earth; and he that is wise will not abhor them." Ecc.38:4
