Probaby not many of these around.The schedule for that day was: July 27, 1990 (Arrival at Southampton and Royal Review) Cover Picture: Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Ediburgh 08:45 Queen Elizabeth 2 anchors at the Solent 10:30 The Royal Review commences11:00 Fly-past of the Concorde, Virgin Airways 747 11:15 Royal Yacht Britannia proceeds to anchoring position 11:50 Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh disempark Britannia for QE2 12:00 The Royal Party embark for luncheon on QE2 12:00 Queen Elizabeth 2 weight anchor for Southampton 10:15 pm - In the Theatre"Concert of light classics "by The Royal Philharmonic Orchersra - Forellen Ensemble. 11:30 pm - Fireworks display And yes we all lined the railing and gave the cheer "hip, hip, hip, hooray" on this day.
