On Board Cruise Bulletin R.M.S. Mauretania 1934 On offer is a scarce Cruise Bulletin from the "Old Lady of the Atlantic", R.M.S. Mauretania (1907-1934). Printed for passengers on board with the Mauretania's own letterpress, this evocative vintage paper is filled with news of concern to her passengers. There is a mention of Hitler, news from Moscow, Genoa, Shanghai, Madrid and Washington along with an an item about the U.S. Fleet. There is also a summation of Wall Street news. Made as a throwaway item, these on board daily news bulletins were rarely saved. Measuring 12.5" x 11", this original vintage paper is Very Fine + condition . Mild age tone which is normally seen on these and very minor age related wear; one small tear along the right edge. A very small patch of glue on the reverse - very minor. Much better than the average example. Still supple and only the original fold lines are present. Please note: We do not sell scans so please don't ask.
