US CURRENCY 1934A AFRICA $10 SILVER CERTIFICATE Ch. VF, WARTIME, Old Paper Money We have here a U.S. WORLD WAR II EMERGENCY ISSUE NORTH AFRICAN $ 10.00 SILVER CERTIFICATE NOTE . This is the prized Yellow Seal $10.00 bill from the opening days of the Second World War in North Africa and Europe, a must for any collection. It was issued only from 1942-44 for use in the war zone. This note is from the A-A block . This note is beautiful. Book value for this note is $85.00 , but retailers and Shop at Home TV often charge up to $100+ each just because they are so popular and they only used the yellow seal this one time for Silver Certificates. This note is fully intact with no tears, or missing pieces. It shows light use with a few wrinkles, folds, but otherwise it has good color, has sharp edges and corners all around. This note is very crisp and very clean overall. There are no pin holes or tears. While all notes contain amazing history, this note may have been in the pocket of a US Soldier in North Africa or Western Europe fighting the Germans!
