From the Hammer Studios horror classic, The Curse of the Werewolf , '61 , directed by Terence Fisher , and starring Oliver Reed . This is an approx. 15" tall, 1:2 to 1:3rd scale , foam filled latex rubber display bust based on the memorable creature make-up from this film. It's essentially a head and shoulders latex rubber mask, except in this case it was sculpted and cast in a fixed display position, and then foam filled to retain it's shape. The facial features were then painted, and the whole thing is haired, with even the right shading of Hammer Studios / tomato bisque acrylic 'blood' carefully applied. This was an extremely limited production item purchased from mask collectors/ creators, David & Laura Lady , has never been displayed, and been kept in smoke free storage. As you can see from the pics, this is a highly detailed bust sporting various shades and textures of hair, and even has tufts of hair on either side of the nasal bridge. Maybe about the only thing that would keep it from being 'mint' would be the visible yellowing of the adhesive bordering the hair line of the face (see pics).
