~ MINT Curtiss BABY RUTH Chewing Gum Store Display Box w/ 10 Packs ~

Wow, this is a super find! A vintage 1928 Curtiss Candy BABY RUTH Chewing gum pop up box store display with 10 unused packs of gum. Curtiss claimed their Baby Ruth candy bar (and gum I guess) was not named for baseball great Babe Ruth even though it was created at the height of Babe's career. This wonderful box with gum is fresh from the estate of a man who had a pharmacy for many years and the family saved all the items. Each chewing gum pack holds 5 separately wrapped sticks. The box consists of a lid, bottom and inside pop-up to advertise the 5 cent gum. Gum packs are unused and in basically mint condition. The box is in excellent condition with just a small spot of paper missing on front left corner. T are no broken seams and the pop-up is completely attached. Box & lid both dated 1927 and 1928. Each gum pack measures 3 inches long. Box closed measures 6.25 x 4.25 x 1.25 inches. Pop up measures 6x4 inches. A super looking advertising piece!
