Curtiss-Wright Rare Aviation Collectables 1920's to 1940's NO RESERVE THE CURTISS CRUSADER ENGINE BROCHURE This is a genuine original Curtiss "Crusader" Engine brochure. Produced by the Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor company in Garden City New York and a division of the Curtiss-Wright Export Corporation. It includes detailed descriptions of the engine including cylinders, pictures, characteristics and power curve graph. It is 8 3/4" x 11" (un opened). It is in OK condition for it's age. This would be an outstanding addition for the aviation enthusiast and or collector of WWII memorabilia. The Curtis-Wright Corporation has a lot of history in very early aviation with the "Wright" in the name coming from the Wright Brothers. In addition this company was of significant importance to the outcome of WWII. They manufactured the P 40 Warhawk Fighter, C 46 Commando Cargo Transport, SB2C Helldiver Navy Bomber, Army A 25 Helldiver, Seagull Navy Scout Plane and the Republic Thunderbolt Fighter.
