CUSTOM 1960's Silver Trumpet Mouthpiece *** VINTAGE Collection from Lloyd Michels *** Description This is a PREMIUM example of hand crafted excellence! This vintage mouthpiece is custom made for Lloyd Michels. There are NO major dents or dings on it, its in great condition, the end opening is not perfectly round as it should be. This is marked LM on it for Lloyd Michels. I purchased about 50 vintage mouthpieces from Lloyd Michels that I will be listing over the next few days here on ebay so please look out for them. Most were part of his personal collection and some even bare his name because the maker put his name on them due to it being custom made for him. Lloyd Michels was a pupil of Roy Stevens and was a lead, session player and recording artist. You can find out more Here . Lloyd Michels and Lin Biviano led a trumpet section with Dick Reudebusch, Bill Byrne and John Crews back in the 1960's. I was informed this one is probably from the 1960's.
