Model Semi-Tractor Custom built HO SCALE "Golden State of Mind" The Tractor was built from a Norscot Peterbilt 389. The Model uses the cab and hood from Norscot. Sits on a scratchbuilt frame. Uses Athearn chrome plated wheels. A short Kenworth/Pete sleeper bunk, 5th wheel, rear chrome plated bumper, plated mirrors, plated horns and plated exhaust stacks from Herpa/Promotex. Fuel tanks are A-Line and stock Norscot parts finish out the details. The model was painted in School Bus Yellow and Purple. There is some Super glue residue on the roof from the attachment of the horns, and is slightly noticable, but not distracting from the model. The model was built as an entry into a build off challenge for" 1/87 Scale Vehicle Models " and " Big Rig Trucks 87 " groups on Facebook. The inspiration was the typical short bunk, single axle Hay truck in California which would pull double flat bed trailers. You are bidding on a Custom built model. It has fragile parts and is not a toy.
