Offering a brass sculptured spoon (coffee scoop, actually ) by the well known artist Joe Spoon metalsmith and it is signed and dated '90 on the back o the bowl. (no two are exactly alike as noted in the copy found below the photos) Exquisite detail in the form used in the handle, and mimicked again in the hanging holder. The spoon alone measures 4-1/2", the hanging hook is 2-3/8". The piece could us a bit of brass polish if the buyer wishes but it has a nice patina. Below the photos is information about the artists work. I did not attempt any cleaning or polishing, and offer this item directly as received from the estate. from the words of the artists gallery pages "Each piece in the Joe Spoon Metalsmith Collection is individually hand-wrought using time-honored techniques handed down by master craftsmen.
