WRESTLING II WWE Mattel 2 GCW WCW AWA So I took a few weeks off from creating Marvel legends to do a few old time Wrestler Favorites. Here we have one of my all time Favorites, Mr. Wrestling II! I grew up in Georgia watching Gordon Solie on Georgia Championship Wrestling, so I know all about MR. WRESTLING II. MR. WRESTLING II was, in my rather bias opinion, the best all-time chain wrestlers in the business. MR. WRESTLING II would tie his opponents up and stretch them 6 ways to Sunday every time. MR. WRESTLING II was so cool, he made you believe that a running Knee-Lift was a devastating finisher! (Take THAT William Regal). MR. WRESTLING II was voted most popular wrestler several times here in GA, and in 1980 he won the PWI “Most Popular Wrestler”. I can’t tell you how many times I used to watch him on “The Super-Station” with chants of, “we want the Knee-Lift” from the wild crowds at the TV tapings. MR. WRESTLING II was made using a few different wrestling figures. MR. WRESTLING II’s mask was made from Super-Sculpey, I even included the tiny seems around the head. MR. WRESTLING II and mask were painted exclusively with Testors Model Magic Acrylic Paints and sealed with Testors Acryl-Sealer. I will throw in one of the new BLACK WWE Mattel Standing bases as well. MR. WRESTLING II was made for posing and light play, but as with any custom, one too many Knee-Lifts can lead to paint wear. ***Note, this auction is for the MR. WRESTLING II figure and stand ONLY!
