CUSTOM FRAMED MOLA BY KUNA INDIANS OF SAN BLAS PANAMA Description What is offered: custom framed Molas, in four different motifs: each may be purchase individually or as a group. Molas are decorative hand made pieces that are originally use as one front or back part of a blouse wear by the Kuna Indian women. Once separated, the molas become useful peaces used for decorations such as: pillows, bed-covers, handbags, etc., but mainly for wall decorative displays. Custom framed Molas: are hard to find. They are more the exception than the norm. It is expensive, not readily available. Here we have four different designs, custom framed in light wood tone, with an insert (vignette)in white to expand the beautiful motif of the Mola, The vibrant red of the Mola as the main color, is enhanced by a gamut of tiny stitching in a rainbow of colors that make the design. The designs: are mainly Kuna Indian motifs that encompass tropical scenery, fauna, flora, and utensils from their day to day work. Additional explanation of each motif is available upon request. Presentation: the Mola has been stretch to bring forward the reverse applique technical components, No glass is used thus, exposing the material and layers of cloth in it's true multidimensional stage.
