Hohner Rockwood LX90B electric bass (Performer Series). It was manufactured by Hohner in the late 1980s/early 90s based on the classic Precision Bass design. It's a reliable 'workhorse' of a bass: solidly built and plays really well, with a full and rounded tone. It has a bolt-on maple neck and standard tone/volume controls (all recently re-wired). This bass has been modified and upgraded to include: Entwistle pickups Lacquered fretless neck (lined with fret markers) Flatwound strings Resprayed 'Capri Orange' body and black scratchplate Condition: The bass has been gigged over the years but has been well loved and is in great condition for its age. The only damage is a surface crack in the paintwork/lacquer at the end of the upper horn (as shown in the photograph). This damage is cosmetic and does not affect the body of the instrument itself. It comes with the original truss rod allen key and strap. This bass is ideally suited to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable fretless. It would also make a great starter bass or a DIY project for anyone interested in upgrading it further. Available for collection or delivered for FREE within Greater Manchester.
