This is a custom made Guitar Pedalboard flightcase, made by a professional flightcase builder . I’m sure it’s obvious, but the guitar pedals in some of the pics are to show you the pedalboard in action and are NOT part of the auction, although many of them are for sale separately in my other auctions. The winning bidder will receive the empty flightcase! Size: Case exterior dimensions: 103cm X 16cm X 43cm (approx - give or take a few mm )Pedal Board interior dimensions : 100cm X 40cm (approx - give or take a few mm )The base of the case is covered in high quality industrial strength ‘loop’ velcro (the rough side) so your pedals are ready to go straight on without purchasing new velcro (as long as your pedals are already covered in the ‘hook’ (furry) side. The velcro already on the board is very expensive and far superior to the regular velcro you find on eBay - it is extra strength. This gives you tremendous peace of mind when travelling with your pedals. The lid of the case simply lifts straight off its quick release hinges once the front butterfly catches are released, leaving the base holding your pedals ready to go within seconds (very handy when your band only has a quick set up/changeover time) - IMHO this is better than the Pedaltrain style of having a metal frame inside the case which needs lifting out. I often used the lid as a tray to house other spares, cables and guitar cases backstage, again making carrying things to and from the stage quickly and safely.This pedal case is the perfect blend of high quality ATA spec strength and yet was designed to be as light as possible . Reason for sale: It is now surplus to requirements as I am downsizing my guitar rig, so grab yourself a bargain and help me free up some space at home! Specifications: Strong plywood w/Black Laminate Tongue & Groove Metal Railing Ball Corners Industrial Rivets Industrial Latches - butterfly catches Quick release hinges on one side so that the lid comes away easily during set up. Rubber Feet Condition: The case has been well looked after. As you'd expect, it has a few scuffs and dings, but nothing beyond cosmetic and obviously doesn’t affect the use of the case. I guess a pristine condition flight case doesn’t stay that way for long anyway if you’re gigging seriously (and if you’re not, maybe these scuffs will even give you some rock and roll credibility! ;-) All catches and hinges are in great condition and open and close smoothly. The only issue you need to check out is that I’ve cut a small hole in the side (near where my Jim Dunlop Wah goes - see pics) to enable you to plug a jack straight in. Without this cut you would lose a lot of space on the board as you wouldn't be able to plug a cable in and clear the metal edge. This cut makes a big positive difference and is easily covered with a square of gaffer tape when on the move. Practically it doesn’t affect the strength of the case or safety of the pedals within, you just want to put tape over it to stop dust etc getting in when not in use. I’m one of eBay’s many ‘good guys’ which is why I’m completely up front about any of the small defects. e.g. as seen in the pics, there is a little discolouration on a couple of the catches. It is a little superficial rust, but it is just on the surface and could easily be removed with some wire wool if this cosmetic defect bothers you. I never bothered as it doesn’t affect the strength or life of the case. Basically, if you want a flightcase in pristine condition, please don’t bid - this is a used flightcase. However, it still looks very smart and is perfect for the job - custom built by professionals, very strong and in good condition. New, these retail at £200+ so I’ve started the listing at a sensible price.
