This knife is one that I personally developed from years of living, working, and playing outdoors. There is nothing that this blade cannot handle. The overall length of this knife is 9.75 inches with a cutting edge of 5 inches. The steel is 3/16" O 1 tool steel that has been professionally heat treated and tempered to a rockwell of 56. The edge is a flat scandi grind. This piece sports Figured Mahogany grips. The purpose of this blade is for all tasks that one would find while out in the woods. The curved blade makes this a perfect cutting and skinning knife. It excels in both kitchen duties and heavy duty tasks such as batoning wood or small chopping tasks. I have purposefully designed the handle to give multiple grips on the knife. You can choke up further on the blade for fine tasks as well as grip lower on the handle for chopping tasks. As for use in defense this knife is it. The curve of the blade has been set so the point is in a straight line with the pommel giving you the ability for powerful stabs, while the curved blade offers amazing slashing power. You will not be disappointed in this knife. Anyone who loves blades or the great wilds of the world needs this blade at their side.Take it from me, a lover of all things pointy and wild, buy this before it is to late.
