Custom Handmade Sheath for Ka-bar Knife-7"

This Auction is for a handmade sheath to fit the Ka-bar. No stone is included but the pocket has been formed to take a standard 3" x 7/8" x 3/8" stone such as the Norton pocket stone. The Kabar in the pic is mine, an original WWII model and not included in this auction.

Made one up a while ago for a contractor heading back to Afghanistan. He said that for day to day usage over t he preferred his trusty old Ka-Bar from his Marine days. :o) I think this would be the ultimate sheath for actually carrying and using a Kabar. Will also fit MK II's from the other makers such as Camillus or Robeson as the blades are identical.

The sheath is made from oil tanned harness leather and hand stitched with 3 cord linen thread. Neatsfoot oil is applied to the leather and then a final application of mink oil for water resistance. A very durable sheath.

If you have a different knife you would like a sheath made for contact me. A tracing of the blade can be scanned and sent via email to make the pattern and insure a good fit and I can make it up and list it on ebay for you.
