Hi, This auction is for a Custom 1/24 scale or slightly larger Herbie the love bug and lighted garage/shop diorama called "Getting ready for the races" which is approximately 18" inches long by 7" high and features a black framed glass front which can be either left on or removed. The diorama also has hangers in the back which would allow it to be hung up on a wall or just placed on a shelf. There is so much detail I put into this that I'm not sure where to begin. I modified and painted a Volkswagen Beetle to look like Herbie along with applying gloss Vinyl decals, custom racing wheels etc...Herbie's front tires can turn left and right. In the shop section, I added a variety of mini movie posters from all of the films and different variations from the U.S. and other countries.There are body panels and parts through out, tools, cans, shop manuals, empty mini coke cans, an engine on wood blocks with a chain and pulley type hoist, car repair diagrams on the work benches , a trash can with papers inside and a bunch of other Volkswagen/ Herbie related items. The shop is powered by two (2) overhead lights that require 2 AA batteries which can be turned on or off by using the attached switch.
