CUSTOM HO SCALE BLACK HOT ROD SLOT CAR! Custom molded body, resin cast then handpainted, with chrome-plated plastic details added. My cars are hand made models, each one is unique / no two are alike! This slot car runs on an AutoWorld chassis. The beauty of my unique body is that it is a single piece casting and was designed to use the full size Thunderjet/AutoWorld chassis. The front of the body serves as the frame for mounting the motor, front axle and radiator. No diecast metal pieces are used on this model. The beautiful lightweight resin body and full size chassis means it runs as good as it looks. No slim-line pretenders here. Big rear wheels and tires for traction on the rear, with lightweight wire rims and tires on the front. Just look at all the chrome on this baby! Custom motor with "organ pipe" type headers, classic hot rod front grill, nerf loop type rear bumper and a 3 point roll bar all in chrome add up to that Custom Rod look! Full interior details include seats, steering wheel, stick shift and instruments. Classic flame decals applied on both sides. Details include a " HOT ROD " license plate on the rear and a framed windshield. Notes: For this particular car it was necessary to trim the AW chassis in the area where there were front axle holes to get the gorgeous Cadillac engine to sit in place. Also
