This knife has been created by an amazing Canadian knifemaker, Rob Douglas. Rob's work has been exhibited at the different knife shows as well as on .
Rob currently in the active duty, serves in the unit created as a result of conversion of Canadian Airborne Regiment and travels for UN missions. To find out more , please check his site - The quality of Rob's work is truly impeccable, the cord wrapping on the handle is straight and tight, the shape is elegant, also influenced by the scabbard work. The traditionalist approach to the tanto design has the clay zone tempering for the blade (please observe the beautiful tempering lines on the blade), ray skin and cord wrapping, and antiqued copper fittings on the handle. Oh, and the knife is razor-sharp. Please refrain (if you get to see the knife) from trying the blade with your finger - the proven result is leaving a fragment of skin on the blade. Thanks the super-powers, I did not bleed. The sizing specifications have been provided by your's truly. The reason for selling - need to build the budget for new knife I am going to order from Rob. I am currently working on the sketches.
